We Find What Others Miss

Factory-level scan tools, ASE-certified technicians, and 30+ years of diagnostic experience. When your check engine light comes on — or something just feels off — we get to the root cause fast.

Why Choose Us

Diagnostics Done Right the First Time

A fault code is just a starting point — not a diagnosis. Any shop can read a code and replace a part. Our technicians use factory-level scan tools, live data analysis, and years of hands-on experience to find the actual cause of your vehicle's problem. That means fewer unnecessary repairs, less money out of your pocket, and a fix that actually lasts.

What We Diagnose

Comprehensive Diagnostic Services

From a simple check engine light to complex electrical faults — we have the tools and training to find the cause.

Check Engine Light

We go beyond reading codes. Our technicians analyze live sensor data, freeze-frame data, and system parameters to pinpoint the exact cause — whether it's a faulty O2 sensor, misfiring cylinder, EVAP leak, or something more complex.

Common Symptoms

  • Check engine light on or flashing
  • Reduced power or fuel economy
  • Rough idle or hesitation
  • Failed smog inspection

Electrical System Diagnosis

Modern vehicles have millions of lines of code and dozens of control modules. We diagnose no-start conditions, battery drain, alternator issues, faulty sensors, wiring shorts, and module communication failures with precision.

Common Symptoms

  • Dead battery or won't start
  • Flickering lights or accessories
  • Warning lights on dash
  • Intermittent electrical issues

Driveability Issues

Hesitation, stalling, rough idle, poor acceleration — driveability problems are often the hardest to diagnose. We use road testing, oscilloscope analysis, and fuel system testing to find the root cause, not just mask the symptom.

Common Symptoms

  • Rough idle or stalling
  • Hesitation on acceleration
  • Poor fuel economy
  • Engine surging or hunting

Module & Network Diagnostics

From ABS and traction control to transmission and body control modules, we diagnose communication faults across your vehicle's CAN bus network. We can reprogram, update, or replace modules as needed.

Common Symptoms

  • ABS or traction control light
  • Transmission shifting issues
  • Multiple warning lights at once
  • Modules not communicating

Emissions & Smog Failures

Failed your smog check? We diagnose the underlying cause — not just clear the codes and hope it passes. We address readiness monitors, catalytic converter efficiency, EVAP system leaks, and EGR issues to get you passing legally.

Common Symptoms

  • Failed smog inspection
  • EVAP or emissions codes
  • Catalytic converter codes
  • Readiness monitors not set

Pre-Purchase Inspection

Buying a used vehicle? Our comprehensive pre-purchase inspection includes a full diagnostic scan, visual inspection, road test, and written report — so you know exactly what you're buying before you sign.

Common Symptoms

  • Buying a used car
  • Want to know hidden issues
  • Verify seller's claims
  • Peace of mind before purchase
How It Works

Our Diagnostic Process

We follow a systematic approach to find the real cause — not just the first guess.

01

Vehicle Intake & History Review

We start by listening to you. You know your vehicle best. We review any prior repairs, symptoms, and driving conditions before touching a tool.

02

Full System Scan

We perform a comprehensive scan of all vehicle modules — not just the powertrain. This reveals stored codes, pending codes, and live data across every system.

03

Live Data & Component Testing

Codes point us in a direction. Live data and component testing confirm the diagnosis. We test sensors, actuators, circuits, and fuel delivery under real operating conditions.

04

Root Cause Identification

We identify the root cause — not just the symptom. A misfire code could be a spark plug, coil, injector, compression issue, or timing problem. We find which one.

05

Clear Estimate & Explanation

Before any repair begins, we explain exactly what we found, why it matters, and what it will cost to fix. No surprises, no pressure.

Quick Answers

Common Diagnostic Questions

Q

Is there a diagnostic fee?

Yes. We charge a diagnostic fee to properly identify the root cause of your vehicle's issue. In most cases, this fee is applied toward the cost of the repair if you choose to have us fix it.

Q

Can you diagnose any make or model?

Yes. We service all domestic and import vehicles — American, Japanese, European, and Korean makes. We have the factory-level scan tools and training for all of them.

Q

What if the check engine light comes back after repair?

Our repairs are backed by a 12-month / 12,000-mile warranty. If the same issue returns within that period, we'll make it right at no charge.
